My bean did a firmware update, but now I can't load / execute a sketch.
Using an iPad Pro, when the Bluetooth is turned on, the Bean is indicated as 'connected'.
Using the Bean Loader App. and clicking the 'Bluetooth' icon, giving the 'Select Bean' page, the Bean is listed, but the signal strength is 'greyed' out.
If I click the 'i' on the right, and click the 'Blink Bean' text function, my Bean does flash red once, so I assume it is communicating ok.
Now, loading the simple BeanBlink sketch, and compiling it, is Successful with 'Sketch Ok'.
But when I try to upload it, it goes through the process of 'connected, complied, and uploading' but at the end I get the message 'Upload Failed' and the 'Show Error' indicates 'Bootloader Error'.
I have tried to 'Reset' the Bean with a wire from ThevGround to Reset pin, removing the battery, re-inserting it immediatly removing the shorting wire, but I still get the same problem.
I can't imagine that I've 'bricked' it as I able to Blink the Led red from the 'info' option.
It has worked perfectly up until today, I can only imagine it has something to do with the firmware update etc.
ANY help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: Partial solution.
I tried a 'Force Firmware Update' a few times, and it seems to have improved the situation.
I am now able to upload sketches without errors, and stop and start (run) them ok.
However in the 'i' info 'Select Bean' page, the signal strength bars on the left are still greyed out.
But at least it is working again ....
